hi, I am new to this site... I am currently going threw IVF, just started my shots yesterday. I have an important question about the menopure shot... I received all my meds and needles threw the mail and never noticed that i didn't get the needles for the menopure until today.. I gave the shot to myself with the LONG needle because i thought that was the one (I was thinking it was the wrong one but thats all i had) u think its o.k.? I did it yesterday all the way in but today only half because i was worried that it was the wrong one... i called my cousin after i did it and she said its the progesterone needle. OMG i am freaking out... im not in pain or anything just sore from the needle.

Probably no big deal. Let your clinic know.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
Hi,
In my country we use Arvekap but I think it's the same thing under a different brand name (but please do check). Arvekap comes with the large needle only which is used to mix the powder to the liquid. You should use a thinner needle to inject (not too thin coz the liquid is a bit tick & will not pass through a very thin needle and will spill backwards - it happened to me & had to throw it away). I don't think u did wrong (always make sure to excpel 1 tiny drop to remove any air before inserting the needle in your skin and then pull back the injection as if you are absorbing fluid from your own body before injecting inside yourself) but definately you must have felt more pain using the thick one & got more bruised. I was told to alternate the shots each time, that is switch from left to right. You can inject in your tummy, behind, upper leg etc. as long as it is subcutanoues. I opted for tummy they gave ita break and continued on my behind.
