Hi Ghost
Just wondering if you could help me, im inbetween cycles at the moment, starting a donor cycle next Feb after 4 failed cycles. I have severe Endometriosis and it has grown into my ovaries causing POF (FSH is 24) so its the end of the road with my own eggs. I have also been diagnosed with low level autoimmue disorder (through investigates for the donor cycle) and i also have an underactive thyroid that im currently taking medication for.
My question is regarding a supplement called Vitalzym X which are systemic enzymes known to dissolve Fibrin which i believe Endometriosis is made up of, apparently it can also reduce inflammation, cysts, scar tissue, autoimmune disorders and basically rebalance the whole body and I would just like to know your opinion on it. Do you think that this could help reduce Endo and would it have any knock on effects on my next IVF cycle.
The ingredients are:Protease, serrapeptase, papain, bromelain, amylase, lipase, rutin and amla. For a full description of these ingredients, see below.
Other ingredients: Cellulose, maltodextrin, silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, riboflavin, and chlorophyllin.
My fertility clinic or GP are unaware that i am taking this supplement do you think I should mention it or would you think there is no need seeing that they are only enzymes, I have only been on it 2 weeks now so it'll probably take a bit more time for it to have an effect so its hard to say if there has been any improvement in anything yet im just a bit nervous that i might be doing the wrong thing by taking it!
