Ghost,
Thanks for your response about my fertilization question. The update today is that NONE fertilized. The RE admits he has no idea why this happened - with ICSI done on the 5 the next day, there should have been at least something. He said he as never seen this before. After the insemination try there was sufficient number of sperm "attached" to the outer layer of the egg - just not penetrated. Also, the sperm in the tube the next day were still swimming great. He said he would understand if most of the sperm died the next day (sperm problem) OR if there were no sperm "attached" to the egg (egg problem), but given these results he is confused. He ruled out the Lab since other patients had great fertilization on the same day.
I am just trying to figure out what happened. DH has never had an issue with his sperm. Our only fertility issue is "my age" - so once we get some mature eggs we are usually OK. We have NEVER had a fertilization problem before, and am trying to figure why now?
Questions:
1.) Have you ever heard of something like this before? What could be the cause of this?
2.) Have you ever seen ICSI have 100% failure? The RE is "shocked" by this.

Again, thanks for any insight.

No clue here. Once in awhile we see one with no fertilization after ICSI, but it's pretty rare and usually associated with lousy sperm. I wish I could give you some ideas.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
