Newborn vaccine schedule?

Post by Tara2009 »

Hello Parents,

My baby girl is 3 weeks old. Our pediatrician said she can give the first vaccines only after completing 6 weeks. However, some of my friends said their babies got the first vaccines after 4 weeks. I checked online and the schedule says starting from 4 weeks.

When did your babies get their first vaccines?

Tara.

I don't think my daughter started getting vaccines until her two or three month checkup.

My daughter also did not get any until 3 months I think. My pedi told me to deny the one they offer at the hospital, if wasn't necessary at birth. I wouldn't push the vaccines, I was nervous enough following the schedule outlined by the apa.
