Hovering HCG level after chemical pregnancy

Post by littlebear »

Hi

Has anyone heard of or experienced a hovering hcg? my numbers started out low at 56, then increased to 156 and then dropped to 42 (chemical pregnancy). since the drop it has gone up and down - 42, 46,42, and now today 56. this is over a span of 3 weeks. anyone experience this or can offer insight? i've already had the sonogram to rule out ectopic so theres nothing inside. when will the # drop? i cant move onto the next FET til its 0 ....

It still could be an ectopic. There's some implanted trophectoderm/placenta tissue somewhere, making hCG, and it's abnormal.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Hi Little Bear
Can you please let me know what happened after you posted here about the hovering HCG levels? it's been 4 weeks mine are hovering the 30s, also having started low. The story is exactly the same. I also have unknown infertility.
Did you pass through some kind of treatment? I know it's been several years for you, but maybe you had a natural drop afterall?
They want to give me methotrexate, and I'm terrified. I'm 39, and I feel this will be my first and last IUI (with hormones).

Do you have any advice after all your experience?

Thanks...
