I am so mad I just wanted to share.

Here is an article from Huffington Post tonight. They asked Jennifer Lopez about her rumored IVF. I thought her comments where insensitive and ignorant. So is she saying that is you do ivf you don;t believe in god? Is she saying people who have to turn to ivf just aren;t meant to have kids? One commenter said, "Telling an infertile women god doesn't want her to have kids is like telling someone in a wheelchair that god doesn't want them to walk." I couldn't have said it better myself. Some people are just ignorant, and even if she didn't mean it that way, she should think before she opens her mouth and consider how others might feel.

Maybe I am over reacting. People are allowed their own opinion and beliefs, but she is in the public eye and should be careful of what she says.

It's just a silly comment. People should think before they speak, but most don't. I had a friend years ago talk about how she wouldn't do anything out of the ordinary to conceive, like temp, ovu kits, anything. Well, she had to do IUI and get her cervix sewn shut in order for her two boys to make it. So it just goes to show you, until you've been through something, you really shouldn't comment about it.

God bless her if she was lucky enough to have her twins on her own, otherwise she might just be singing a different tune! God also doesn't judge others as miss J.Lo is doing.

According to my pastor, God would not have allowed IVF technology if he did not agree with it.

I just read a recap of this on msnbc and thought I'd hop in too. When we talk about double standards than what was her faith telling her when she got married for the third time after two divorces? Unfortunately the media and others give people like her a voice... She should stick to movies. If that.

I just wanted to say I agree with everyone here especially lisa10. If God did not want us to have kids he wouldn't have allowed the technology. Some of us may have to work a little harder at it then others is all.

I agree with all comments... Well in my country, since catholic religion is very powerful, IVF is now ilegal, I had to go to the states to do mine... can you believe that!

Anacris I am glad you mention religion, it funny how some of them don't believe in IVF, which doesn't make any sense, Mary was carrying Jesus who was not in her womb by natural means. She got a egg implanted in her womb. Oh yes, like IVF, don't get me wrong I love God, but I hate when people who claims to love God throw there own opinions in the mix.

Unreal - so who is ignorant to believe that God wouldn't want a woman who wants a child so bad that she is willing to take all these awful drugs, get poked around like a pin cushion, to have a baby? We are caring mothers, who love our children and really appreciate them. How about women who conceive naturally and do drugs and don't care for their babies? I think we have every right to have a child no matter what the means are and she is an idiot. I wish celebirties were more open about IVF to set a good example. There is no shame in it!
