Ghost--Endometriosis question

I had our second child in June 2009 and have been nursing her up to present. I have not had a period yet (which is fine with me since I have endometriosis and my periods are terribly painful); however, I have something else.

Every month (just like a period) I experience terrible menstral pain, abdominal bloating and swelling and nausea; however, NO bleeding and it is shorter in duration than what would have been my period. It lasts for 2 1/2 days (I can almost time it to the hour). I mentioned it to my OB/GYN at my 6 weeks post natal follow-up appt; she thought my body was just returning to normal and prescribed me a scrip Motrin. This is not my normal period and I am tired of it.

I have an appt to see a different OB/GYN in February and plan to discuss this again. What do you think it might be? Is it an internal menstal cycle related only to my endometriosis (not a uterine menstral cycle)? I am just trying to gain some insight to the possible problem so I can best describe it to this new dr.

I have not contacted my old RE; however, I am wondering if I would receive a better response from him. I have a long history of infertility and my June birth was due to IVF. I know I cannot naturally conceive due to mild/moderate endometrisis and excessive scar adhesions from a terrible appendicitis/appendictomy so I believe this pain/swelling is due from this and my regular OB/GYN just looks at me like I'm making it up.

Any insight/advice is appreciated. I just want a doctor to listen to what is going on and, at the same time, I want to be telling the right doctor. Is my problem over the head of my regular OB/GYN?
