Scan Update

Decided to post this here too - I don't feel ready to move over completely yet hehehehe Yeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaaaaa I phoned the clinic this morning and they've agreed to give me a scan next Friday, will be 7 weeks by then. Am so relieved!!! She said she didn't want to do it any earlier because they wouldn't see the fetal heart and that would make me worry even more! There's still a risk we won't see it, but I'm willing to try. They're also taking me off the gestone injections and changing it to Clinone which is a Gel pessary (not messy like cyclogest, all the gel gets absorbed). It's alot more expensive apparently but she's going to swap them over free and charge and do my scan free of charge!! It must be my lucky day!! Am on top of the world now! Sarah x

Sarah Really pleased for you, you must be relieved, I managed to see both heart beats at 6 weeks although I did have an internal scan. I will be waiting by my PC for an update next week Love Mags Today is my last day of cyclogest......yipppeeeeeeeeeee. Can;t believe I habe to take for so long.

That's fantastic news Sarah. It's amazing what you can get when you ask for it!!!!!!!!! I was lucky too in that they were able to see heartbeats at 6 weeks - like Mags, it was an internal scan. Hope your lucky day lasts all year! Helen xx

Hi Sarah Congratulations!!!! Hope everything's ok at the scan - you should see heartbeat(s) by then I think - I was 7 weeks and 1 day at my first scan and we saw and heard 2 strong hearts! Good luck & take care, Luv Rachel X
