Pregnancy sacs update!

Hi everyone. Just thought I'd let everyone know that I went to the hospital this morning. I was suppose to have another scan today but they decided against it because we probably wouldn't have seen any heartbeats so they will scan me again next wednesday. They did give my DP the pictures of the two pg sacs and he was so emotional it took me by surprise but he's happy now that at least he has seen what I saw last wednesday and knows what I'm talking about now. They did give me something positive to hold on to that there probably is at least one viable pg if not both so I feel better now. Sarah, when did you have your ec and et? Hi Emma I had my egg collection in May 02 hehe. I had a Frozen Embryo Transfer (1 x 4 cell and 1 x 6 cell, day 3 embryo's) put in on Wed 9th July. First day of my last a/f was 21st March so today I'm 6 weeks pregnant. Day from conception is 26. Good news from the hospital then - not too long to wait till next wednesday. I'm having mine next Friday when I'll be 7 weeks? How many weeks and days are you? Good luck for next week, Love Sarah x

Hi Sarah So this is your 2nd attempt, with frozen embroy transfer. How many did they freeze from your egg collection? Do you have any left? I had 2 x 8xcell put back and 6 x 8xcell frozen! You must be so thrilled at being pg!!! I know I am. The clinic class me at 6 weeks today which is the same as you?!? What would the EDD be then? Love Emma x

Oh Wow, can't believe that Emma - the same

) The EDD according to my pregnancy book is boxing day hehehe This is actually my 3rd attempt (I had a miscarriage after my 2nd go in October, m/c in January at 12 weeks, baby died at 8½, that's why I'm paranoid!) Originally I had 19 eggs collected, 16 fertilized, they replaced 2 grade A 6 cell embies in me, froze 13 all Grade A and 1 perished. The first FET they used up 5 embryos - 2 in me and 3 perished. This time they used up 7 embies - 2 in me and 5 perished so now i have 1 little frostie left! I am thrilled about being pg but worried and nervous at the same time. I really didn't it would work first time after the m/c so am so pleased. I'm just praying that nothing goes wrong for me this time. Will be great to have you to go through all this with being at exactly the same stage ! ! ! ! ! How do you feel at the moment? Each day I've had mild a/f pains on and off, hardly anything to mention though. No sore boobs, No nausea, no cravings, but MEGA tierdness. I'm on daily progesterone and tierdness is a side effect so I can't even count that one really. How about you? Sarah x

Hi Sarah Sorry I didn't realise this was your third attempt (3rd time lucky!!). Boxing day that's what I thought oh well hopefully that means I'll be resting up at Xmas and you too!! Apart from the subsiding OHSS, I have felt quite good. I do get very tired and take time out which makes me feel better! I do have aching boobs though and they are starting to feel pretty hard! I had sickness for a week but they think that was down to my OHSS. So you too could be carry twins, which will be confirmed n/w!! Have you had any bleeding atall? LOL Emma Yes, brilliant that we are at the same stage we can compare notes.

No, no bleeding, not even a dot! tut, i'm jealous - I want aching boobs too! I just wish I had some sort of sign. Glad your OHSS is calming down now - are you all swollen up? I'm a bit bloater anway, my stomach already looks preggers before I started - bit of a spare tyre there hehe Are you off work at the moment then? If you are - lucky you! I've went back to work a couple of days after ET - now I feel like I need to be signed off for a couple of months to sleeeeeep. Which clinic are you with? I'm at Harley Street Fertility Centre with Mr Goswamy (Live in Newbury, Berkshire though). Sarah xx

Hi Emma Sounds like you had a good, positive appointment at the hopsital. Hopefully you can rest easy a bit now until your scan next week. How nice that you and Sarah are spot on - you really can compare notes! Can't wait to hear how you both get on next week! LOL Helen xx
