Ghost- Embryo measuring 6wks.4days and no fetal heart rate:-

I was wondering if anyone has ever seen the heartbeat after NOT seeing it at 6wks4days?
I am so disappointed. I thought this was finally my time.

They will probably check again in about a week?

They are usually seen by this time, but not always.

Thanks so much for getting back to me ghost!! I have been lurking for about 3 years (3 IVF cycles and 2 IUI w/hormones and now a natural pregnancy that I thought was a miracle....) and have appreciated all your wisdom!!!!!

They are going to check on Sunday. At that point I will be 7wk2days. I think the only hope is that I ovulated later than we think...but then the 6wk.4days measurements confirm my ovulation date....I was also looking for a glimmer of hope when I read an article that said if the Crown to Rump length was less than 5mm than it was very possible that no heart beat could be detected. Unfortunately my CRL was 7.3.

Anyway, thanks again for all the support you provide me and all the ladies on the board!!!!

Hi Ghost,
I just wanted to let you know that you were right...I went to the doctor yesterday for another scan (I could not wait till Sunday) and the embryo now measured 7wk. but NO heartbeat. I am having a DNC on Monday.

I am very sorry to hear that. The odds were not good, but I was hoping you would be one of the lucky ones after that negative heartbeat.
