Has anyone had a couple glasses of wine while on the supression meds (lupron)? I havent touched any alcohol this far, but was wondering if one or 2 glasses would interfere with the medicine.
My clinics info. booklet actually says you should enjoy the odd glass of wine to relax that it was ok. I didnt on my 1st 4 cycles and got bfn, did on 5th and 6th got bfps (both ended in mc) but couldnt on 7th cylce cause was on antibiotics and got bfp i dont really think it interfers as long as you are not binging. I will admit the odd glass really destressed me best of luck with your cycle.

I doubt alcohol in moderation has any effect on the action of Lupron or gonadotropins.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
The only reason some RE’s tell their patients not to drink alcohol is because the Lupron and alcohol can have a synergistic effect and make you feel very dizzy and very drunk quickly. Now it was a little different for wine but I have tried both and it got pretty ugly w/ the alcohol. I immediately got a really bad headache and felt extremely dizzy, so I decided no more drinking especially the closer I got to stimming. I have had experience w/ it for all three of my IVF cycles. Some say an occasional glass of wine is alright but remember that one of the side effects of Lupron is a headache and wine (especially red wine) can cause migraines also. So for some people it can be a painful experience for them.
