ive been listening to my babys heart beat from a doppler i got at 10 weeks and a few days. Now im 14 weeks and today i have been unsuccessful finding it. Yesterday it was very difficult for me to find and i lost it after about 15 seconds. I know the baby is probably just laying in the wrong position but its been so easy the past 3 weeks to find im getting nervous something is wrong. I almost want to call my OB but i know she already thinks im a little overly concerned about things. Anyone have a doppler at home and unable to find it a day or 2?
I don't have a doppler at home, however with my last pregnancy I was further along than you when the OB had issues finding it a few times. When they have trouble finding it, they can roll in an u/s and see all is ok. Doing it at home you can't. It is just the position of the baby. I am sure your little one is just fine. I suggest you wait to try again when you expect the baby to be active, like after you eat. This might help the baby move into a better spot for you to catch it. Also, move the doppler all over your lower belly, even far down by your pelvic bone, baby may be hiding far towards the back which is making it hard to detect. I know how frustrating the worrying can be, we all know too well. Try to calm down and assure yourself that your baby is fine, just being a little stubborn and hiding.

i know in my head thats exactly what it is, shortly after posting i found the little bugger ! after everything it took to get here i need the reassurance sometimes thanks you !
I am glaf you found your little one and your mind is at ease! It would be nice to have a doppler of my own. I still haven't heard their HB's on a doppler yet. So far I have had nothing but u/s. I get to see the HB but not hear it. lol
