I hope you dont mind me asking but I noticed you said on another thread that you were on Heparin. I was just curious as to why this was?. and what dose were you on??
I have an antibody issue, only thyroid so not considered to be really important, however my GP says he will prescribe it to me if I ask him to, after 2 failed attempt under my belt I am wondering if I should give it a go.

Congrats on the pg, I hope the next few months fly by for you.

Natx

p.s did they hurt at all?..just had to ask that one!

Hi Nat,

I was put on heparin by the clinic. They didn't give me a reason why, but felt that I would benefit from it. I am on 20mg injection each day which I have now got used to taking (I have to admit it does hurt a bit- plus I do get some horrible looking bruises every now and again) but the fact that this pregnancy has taken and I am now almost 22weeks has got to be worth a tiny bit of pain!!

I have to stay on it right up until delivery.

If you feel you might benefit from it then push to be put on it as every little helps in this game!!

Best of luck with your treatment,

Lots of love

Kirsty
xx
