Yes, I tested positive last Friday, convinced that it hadn't worked, and couldn't believe it when the nurse told me the result. ET was on the 16th. I'm now feeling tired, nauseous and still getting a few cramps which are a bit of a worry - feel fine apart from that.<br>I'm really happy to have found this site during the 2ww - DH and I havn't told anyone about the treatment so I'm feeling a bit isolated. Waiting until scan on 18/7 before telling anyone the news - just in case!<br>It took us about nine months to find a donor - had to advertise through the clinic. The tests took a couple months and then our cycles had to be sycronised so all in all the whole process has taken about 15 months. Think I'm v lucky to have caught first time though. Just want this first three months to be over so I can relax and enjoy it!

Congratulations <br>Its nice to know someone that has been through the same TMT , I have already had 2 x Failed ICSI's with my own eggs and got a rececnt FSH level of 16 so decided that it was time for a donor egg, and my second cousin is going to help me out, She and I have our first apointment 24th July and they are going to do all the counciling screaning and talks and signing in one day, she lives in Poole so she will be looked after down there untill egg collection, hopefully October /November as she will be emegrating to Australia in Febuary.<br>What drugs did you take ?<br>How long did you take them?<br>Trace x<br>

I didn't find the drug regime too bad to begin with - I think it is worse for the donor. Two months of HRT to regulate my cycle, then Prostap on day 21 to down-regulate. The donor also had Prostap on day 21 of her cycle. I started taking 2x2mg Progynova on day 1 of next cycle (I think - memory getting hazy already!)and started progesterone pessaries on the day of egg collection. I have to keep on taking Progynova and progesterone until week 12.<br>Good luck with your treatment - you are lucky to have a relative to help you out. I would love to be able to thank my donor properly - what an incredibly generous, unselfish thing to do - to give your eggs to an unknown couple, going through all that drug treatment and an uncomfortable procedure.<br>Let me know how things are going. Rhian<br><br>Just wanted to say congratulations - and how wonderful donors are - I wanted to donate but they told me too old at 36 - 37 in 10 days!
