Wow Tracey, I can't believe you're at 11 weeks already - I thought I was way ahead of you but am only 15 weeks meself!! (unless time is moving for you but standing still for me - feels like that sometimes!!).

The scan will be fine, don't worry - you'll be so happy and relieved to see your GIANT growing baby you'll have forgotton about all your worries (it will be giant compared to last time anyway!!)

Sorry to hear you're spewing but you do know that that's a very good sign of a healthy pregnancy!! I wasn't spewey, so another thing to worry about for me but unecessary as mine babies are fine!!

I'm off for an antenatal appointment on Thursday this week. Have you got one booked yet? 12 weeks was my first one - blood test and urine test, listen to heartbeat and I think that was it. Was nice and reassuring.

My bump is bulging out everywhere already - started showing at 8 weeks and now look about 20 weeks or something, it's amazing how quickly it grows with twins. I think with one about 14-16 weeks is normal for a teeny bump to emerge isn't it?

Oh well, rambling again - am glad to hear you're well and haven't got long till you're scan now (although it probably seems like aaaaages away to you no doubt!).

Take care

Love Sarah x
Sorry have been a bit quiet, but am going to France for a week next week, and work is full of the nightmares that only happen before you go away, and for which you will be blamed when you get back, so I've been a bit busy work-wise.

All OK with me and Bob (baby on board!) - am going for my first midwife appt on Thursday as on Saturday I'll be 10 weeks.

Have seen a marvellous chiropracter to try to minimise any back problems, and she said it will definitely help in the pregnancy, and can also minimise things like swollen legs, leg cramps, high blood pressure etc later on. So I'm definitely converted and am going to have monthly sessions.

Tracey - can't believe you're almost 12 weeks now - by pogging up all the time it's still definitely there, and very healthy by the sound of it. I took my Living In The Eighties wristbands off yesterday for a while - put em back on again pretty sharpish I can tell you! Have you tried pressing on that acupressure point? Hopefully once you get to week 12 it will disappear completely!

Sarah - bet you're so excited re twins - my sister in law had twins from GIFT - they're 3 now and adorable! RE bump size, I don't know about 14/16 weeks for a 'one' bump to show, as I have always had a bit of a tum (perhaps in non-pregnant states I should refer to it as a tump!) - but I have been so hungry lately that I'm getting really porky (ooooh makes me think of pies!!!!!), so wonder if the hunger will wear off before I eat everything in our cupboards .... and beyond!!!

Love to all!
Sally xxx

Ooh exciting! Everything will be fine, don't worry.

Im having a scan the same day, except mine will be about 8.5 weeks, so I doubt there'll be too much to see!

Good luck with it - then you can start to relax a bit more I guess!

LOL

Rachel
x
How excited are you?!?!?!?!?!?!

Is that next Monday? You're going to feel so much happier/more relaxedc once you've had the scan! You'll be amazed at the difference from 7 weeks. Seems like an age, doesn't it?

I had to go and pick up my notes from the hospital yesterday and whilst I was there, asked a midwife to do a heartbeat check for me as I still haven't really felt them move. Both beating away nicely!

Enjoy MOnday!

LOL Helen xx
Hey Tracey - good luck for next Monday, everything will be fine. Little badger will be getting bigger and it'll be soooo exciting.

I had my nuchal today and it was FAB. So relieved to see something there!! It was lying in profile and then starting jumping about - wow! Got lots of pics and DH got all emotional.

Hope you start feeling less sick soon - did you try the wristbands. I've been living in them for weeks now - ruined my tan but made me feel much better. I'm like Sally though - don't want to take them off.

Have a loovely, lovely scan - YEY
Lizzy xxxx

Hi Tracey

Nice to hear from you, I have not been put forward for a nuchal scan to be honest do you pay private?

I have said I am having the AFP test and that will give me a percentage if the baby is downs or spina bifida. They say if I come back as a high risk then I need to think about the needle draining some of the fluid etc.... but we will see.

I am just waiting for my blood results to come back cus they need to know if I am resus negative or positive cus of having an anti d injection so I am waiting for that.

They say when I have my 20 week scan that is quite long because they will be checking for abnormailities so we will see.

I just hope and pray all goes well.

When is everyone's due dates again?

Love

Shell.
xx

Shell - EDD for me is 8th Feb, and I'm seeing the midwife at my surgery tomorrow to get referred on to the hosp. So I don't know what scans etc they'll offer me - am 37 in Jan so will report more after tomoz. Am also off Indians and Chineses, which I am very annoyed about as they were my favourites!

Trace - have a lovely time in France - we're off there this Sat, but am not looking forward to having to avoid all interesting cheeses, pates and wine while everyone stuffs themselves silly! I know you can't have soft unpasteurised cheeses like Brie etc, but what about hard cheeses in France - are they unpasteurised or will I have to work out the French for 'is that cheese pasteurised?'??? Might have to take a pack of Cheddar over at this rate!! Know what you mean about the cat thing - I do that first thing until I've had my ginger/lemon tea. Not an attractive sight or sound! Hope you have a lovely birthday and scan!

Rachel - good luck also with your scan - are you pg with one or more?

Jo - no you cannot be sick and smiling - grimacing more like - but touch wood you're over here and finding out for yourself
next week.

love to all, Sally xxx
I HAVE MY SCAN TOMORROW SO I WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW I GET ON, NO NO NO YOU CAN'T EAT ANY PRAWNS OR SEAFOOD. MY MIDWIFE TOLD ME THIS ON SUNDAY CUS I LOVE PRAWN COCKTAIL AND SEAFOOD STICKS AND SHE TOLD ME I COULDN'T TOUCH THEM ***** SO NO CRAB STICKS *****
LOVE
SHELL
XX
BUGGER!!!!!!

I love prawns!!!!!!!! Also secretly love crab sticks but I keep that addiction secret as I know they're totally processed and gross. But so lovely!!!!!!

I had a look on the babycentre.co.uk site which said that as long as seafood was cooked, you are ok - it's uncooked fish and things like oysters and sushi that we can't eat. Wouldn't bloody want to either!

So I'd say if in doubt, leave it out! It's all so confusing!!
