Yesterday morning was my first follie check. I have been stimming since last Wednesday (started Lupron on May 24th and Gonal F on June 2nd) . I had ten follicles yesterday morning. Two measuring at 6, Six measuring at 7 and Two measuring at 8. I received a call that my estrodil was at 380 and they lowered my Gonal F dosage from 150 to 75 for last night and then back to 150 tonight.
Because this is my first IVF cycle, I am not sure how my follicle count was, is 10 at this point good?
What about them dropping my dosage? I go in tomorrow for another blow draw. They will call me for my dosage for tomorrow night then. Seems to me that they are concerned about my estrogen level?

I dont know much about IVF, Im only on my 2nd one so I dont have as much experience as most people on this board. But i suppose the more follicles, the better because not every follicle will have an egg. I think 10 is pretty good. When I did mine, I had like 20 follicles, but only ended up with 13 eggs but one of them was no good, so 12. Hopefully Ghost or someone else with more knowledge will chime in for you....good luck!

I can only guess why they decreased your already modest dosage, and that guess would be that they expect you to develop more follicles than just those ten. They may be concerned about OHSS risk. Some clinics prefer to stimulate to try to reach estradiol levels less than 3000 or so by day 10 so they feel they can trigger with hCG while not having excessive OHSS risk.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
