Hey I wanted just to have your opinions about prometruim suppositories if anyone used it and got a positive pregnancy. The nurse at my clinic suggested that I use the suppositories instead of the progestrone injections, I used progestrone shots for both od my cycles so please help me, any advise will be appreciated, thank you.

Good luck to all the ladies.
My clinic has used it sometimes, but not that often. I don't know of any studies that compared it to other progesterone products.
Many doctors consider the injections the gold standard for progesterone support, but they are not the ones getting the injections.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
I am using only suppositories and got a BFP. You can see my beta numbers in my signature. I go in for my first u/s on Friday. I should be about 6 weeks along. The Dr said they will be able to tell me more when they are able to measure things. This is my first try with a RE so I have nothing else to compare it to except ttc for about 10 years with no help. I have never tried injectables.

Ghost thank you for all your help and support, by the way I found your comment about the MD really funny I think you are right. PA-FA congratulation for your pregnancy, thank you for your help I wish you a healthy pregnancy.
My clinic uses supositiories for progesterone (I hadnt heard of injectables until I started looking on the boards) and they seem to work fine. The clinic boasts that they have good success rates.
There are different types (some need refrigeration) and can be a bit messy (it doesnt all stay in). Also they recommend that you stay lying down after inserting them for 30 minutes. This can be a bit of a time drain.

Hi,
I used suppositories and have now 20 month healthy twin boys, I did not heard of the injections either until I enter the boards, although suppositories are messier I guess they are less painful, and more convenient, since I would definitely need someone to help me with the shot, I have heard of brave women who do it themselves!
Hi, My clinic only use suppositories also, i had twins too.
My clinic did trials and switched to suppositories but when i asked about the difference i was told if i wanted the shots i could have them but 1: they are more expensive, 2: they hurt, 3: there is no evidence to say they work better.
I used 2 at night after my FET, and until i was 12 weeks pregnant when the placenta takes over. On a fresh cycle i just used 1 as you have progesterone occurring naturally from the follicles.
good luck
