Baby Dust Needed

I havent been around in awhile.. so here is a little update. I went through a few more cycles and ended up with 2 CGH normal embies and 2 inconclusive.

We decided that since my body did not seem to want to get pregnant we would go with a surrogate.

Her name is Jennifer and she has been a surrogate twice before and got pregnant each time on the first transfer.

She goes for her lining check on Wednesday and then the transfer is scheduled for Monday the 26th. We are going to transfer 1 embryo at a time.

I figure lots of good vibes from all my old IVF buddies cant hurt. I so want this to work!!!

NY4thtry - I saw your post on the SIRM board. Those sound like awesome embies. I wish I could have embies like that. Everything is crossed that this time it works. Keep me posted.

I remember you from last year when I was going through my cycles. I always found so much comfort and support in your posts. I was so sad when you left the boards and was very disheartened by the reasons behind it. I'm so glad that you came back. I check this board now and again to remind myself of the amazing journey that I took to get my daughter here.

65% per embryo adds up to a really good chance with two.

By the way, did your surrogate deliver on her previous tries? I see you mentioned pregnancy.

Hi Ghost!!

We are only putting in one at a time.

The surrogate has had 3 pregnancies of her own .. delivered 3 healthy boys. She then was the surrogate for her sister and delivered a healthy baby full term. She then was a traditional surrogate (meaning she was also the egg donor ) and delivered twins at 36 weeks vaginally.

So she has a pretty good track record. Her e2 on the 21st was 532 and her lining was 11.

Hi there

Thought I would give an update.

The first cgh normal didn't survive so we had to use the second.. It had hatched and the transfer went well.

I have to say that the transfer into the surrogate was the most profoundly emotional thing i have ever done in my life.

Please pray for us.. First beta is august 3rd.
