Hi Lou
Firstly I am sorry I didn't reply to your text yesterday I have only just got me some credit. I don't really know what to say to you to be honest with the sickness. I had sickness but I just made sure I was eating something (snacking) all day because I was feeling sick and then constantly sick after a meal on the evening. I really do not no what to advise you. Hope your managing to keep the drinks down that the doctor gave you.

Speak to you soon.
Love
Shell.
15wks 3d pg
x x

Poor you!

Acupuncture a couple of times a week is supposed to help - but my acupuncture lady did say that it can get worse weeks 9 - 12. I know you mentioned the wrist bands but I find it helps if you dig a nail into the acupressure point there. I read something about Lucozade or glucose tablets and also sucking on ice chips helping, and I also read about b vitamins helping, but I can't remember which b vitamin it was or how much, so it might be an idea to give your midwife or GP a ring. Sorry not to be more precise.

My sister in law had twins, and her nausea was really helped by swimming in the morning (not ideal I know!!!!).

At least it's a sign of a healthy pregnancy - and it will pass!
Hope you feel better, love Sally xx
Hi Louise .... you really have my sympathies. I'm 7 weeks and have nausea most of the time but no actual sickness so far. It's pretty horrid but nothing like what you're going through.

I found that a fizzy drink helps me - Lucozade worked for me really well but then I saw that it contained caffeine and so stopped drinking it. But the lucozade glucose tablets dont have caffeine in them so maybe try them. Sparkling water helps perhaps with a bit of fruit juice.

Other than that, dry melba toast is a godsend to me, but we're all different.

I hope it soon eases off for you - if you find any brilliant cure please let us know!!!!
