I am 8 weeks preg. w/ twins and all the sudden I started bleeding. It was bright red and I bled off and on for over an hour. I went to the RE and did an US. Both babies are still here and both had heartbeats. I am sooo anxious and nervous. They do not know where the source of the bleeding is and so I am on bedrest and go back on Monday. Has anyone experieced this and had a good outcome??? On a sidenote my first beta was 2600 and my second went down to 2160 but my third beta shot back up over 5000. I have not received BW in 2 weeks once they see heartbeats they go strictly by US now. Please send advice or experience.

It definitely happens. Sometimes is means the pregnancy was lost and other times it does not. I have seen several like yours (red bleeding, followed by a good ultrasound) result in live birth.

I am also pregnant with twins and I am almost 36weeks now. I started bleeding when I was around 11 weeks and it lasted for 3 months. I bled red, brown, all kind of color you can name it during those 3 months.
So I guess it is common for twins pregnancy. Make sure call your RE/OB if you have any concern.
as far as the beta, i remember the 1st beta (9dpt) was 490, 2nd beta(11dpt) was around 1100. Dont worry too much. I think you will be fine.

Hey Rio good to hear from you! I can't believe our boys are almost 2. I went back today and the babies are doing well. I am on bedrest the rest of the week just to be safe. How are you doing. Are you cycling now or soon? Take care!

I Know! It flew by!

I had an ectopic but I am trying again in late Sept / Oct sprinkle me with baby dust!
Get lots of rest and keep those babies cozy!
