Letters To My Uterus

Post by mrsspicy »

Hello Ladies,

I am new to this board, but after reading some of the posts I wanted to share a website that I developed for women, men and couples that are suffering from infertility.

Letters to My Uterus is a letter writing campaign to our infertile parts, to give everyone a chance to vent, to pour all those emotions out and de-stress. Reading the letters of the other people that are going through the same experiences, having the same thoughts and feeling the same pressure, gives hope to those who feel hopeless, a little company on the journey, and a little bit of humor to make it a little bit easier to swallow.

This is not spam, I was dx with PCOS when I was 16 and told right then and there that I would never be able to have children. Now my husband and I are TTCing with the blessing of our physicians and a reproductive endocrinologist. I started this project for us ladies that are often forgotten. So please take a minute and read the letters that have already been submitted, and I hope you'll write one too.

Always,

Amy

This is a really interesting site, Amy. The name of the site is a little "odd" but it totally works. Sometimes I DO feel like I need to write an emotional letter to my body. In a way, I would think that it would be therapeutic to do so for emotional purposes. Venting is so important . . .especially in matters like these. Experiencing fertility issues is emotionally draining and when you have no one else to talk to, sometimes it's best to just write or express yourself in any way you can. I'm definitely interested in writing a letter about my experiences. Thanks for sharing that awesome link, Amy!

People just tell me to keep track of my ovulation like it's SO simple. One day people will understand. :(
