Hi,

I travel alot by car and planes for work and I was wondering if anyone knows how much and how long is Ok ? Any help on this would be really welcome as I am afraid of losing this pregnancy ( am 5 weeks )

Thanks
Susi
Hi Susi

As far as I know, you can fly up to 26 weeks. As for driving etc, I guess as long as you feel comfortable and well go for it!

LOL

Rachel
x
Hi Susi,
I was told not to travel by plane during the first or last trimesters.
I did fly twice during the second trimester and wore those support socks just in case.
Check with your clinic to see what they recomend for you before you fly anywhere. As far as by car, I think that like Rachel says you just have to judge how you are feeling and make sure you plan in lots of loo stops!!!!
Hope all goes well for you
Love
kirsty
x
TTC for 7 yrs (have severe endo and pcos and hubby has v low sperm) until became pg after ICSI cycle last feb. Now am the lucky mother of perfect little boy called Joshua born last october.
Hi Susi

I agree with what everyone else has said above, the thing is if driving in the car just make sure you stop to get plenty of breaks and to stretch your legs.

We worry about all sorts, I am just like yourself, I was due to go to Cyprus in September but cancelled because I didn't want to fly, but I just want to be careful because I just don't want anything to happen to my baby.

Hope all goes well.

Love
Shell.
16wks pg
xx
Susi
I'd check with your consultant.
It depends on your history but I know that my consultant didn't want me making any long haul flights for the whole pg (flew to Scotland which was OK)because of my MC history.
Sure you'll be fine but best to get the expert's point of view.
Terri
xx
