Miscarriage to FET...Anybody????

hi to all! i'm brand new to this forum. i'm 33 years old with tubal factor issues as to why i cannot get pregnant naturally. i recently went through my 1st fresh cycle ivf and i got pregnant and miscarried at 6 weeks. i have 6 FE left from my ER. i plan on starting an FET as soon as the dr says it's ok. i was wondering if there was anybody on this forum that had a simular situation as me and has a successful story to tell? i really love reading success stories as it obviesly brings a smile to my heart. thanks for listening....

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I just recently had a miscarriage (from a fresh cycle). At 6 weeks, we saw a perfect embryo and heartbeat. At 7 weeks, still a good heartbeat but still measuring 6 weeks. At 8 weeks, no hb and still measuring 6 weeks. I stopped all my meds, but didn't miscarry. I had a D&C last week at 10 weeks.

I want to do a FET AS SOON AS POSSIBLE! (I'm 24, this will be our FIFTH transfer and I have no living children).

I don't ovulate on my own (have a 'cycle') - so I was told to start a pack of birth control pills the day of my D&C. When I finish the pack (another 2.5 weeks), I'll get my period - and start my FET from there. (In general, my FETs consist of Estrace from CD1 until about 2 weeks in, then progesterone for a few days, then transfer).

Does this help? Hopefully we will both get FETs soon - with better results!

I just wanted to say that I also lost twins at 20 weeks b/c of incompetent cervix. I also do IVF to get pregnant so it was even more devastating. . . I just wanted to ask you if you were diagnosed with IC?? I got a TAC (trans abdominal cerclage) instead of a TVC and I am so happy that I did. I had a healthy full term baby in March. Definitely do your research and consider the TAC.. check out Abbyloopers website devoted to the TAC.

hello ladies! to leorira11 thank u for ur story! i'm sorry for ur loss as well! it's always hard when u have ur heart wrapped around something and it doesn't happen. but we are all SO STRONG! i have an appt on 10/5 to see what my next step is. i'm trying to get a natural fet as soon as possible if it's in my cards.
to carrie no i do not have what u asked me. (sorry i forgot what it was called) my infertility issue is tubal factor. i have a 14 yr old daughter. when she was 2 (so 12 yrs ago) i had an ectopic pregnancy that almost took my life. it ruptured my left tube and damaged the right with scar tissue. they removed my left tube completely. the dr's had high hopes for me. i'm hoping this next fet goes well..i'm sure we all feel that way...take care ladies..please keep me updated on ur progress...erzsi
