I'm new to this site and blogging in general, so pardon if I don't speak the lingo! I am on my first cycle of IVF. My husband has low sperm so this was our only option. I also found out in primary tests that I have PCOS. I've been on Gonal F for 10 days and my ultrasounds are showing a large number of folicles and the Drs are concerned I will hyperstimulate. They are going to talk to me tomorrow about IVM. I've read different opinions on the internet but wonder if anyone has experience with this. It doesn't seem too popular or widely used in the US.
Jenn- I did IVM and it worked for me on the first try. I feel very lucky and blessed. So far everything is going great. I am wondering where you are located? There aren't many Drs in the US that do IVM. If you'd rather not say on a forum feel free to send me a PM. I had a wonderful Dr here in PA.
If you have ANY questions please don't hesitate to ask. I really think IVM is wonderful especially for women with PCOS as it helps us avoid OHSS.
Best of luck to you and lots of baby dust. This forum is wonderful and you can find many wonderful women here. It's very different from the other forums where you run into pregnant teens, oops I'm pregnant again for the 7th time and other drama that we here really have nothing in common with. We all understand the struggles to conceive a child.
Hugs to you as you go through this journey. You are not alone.

Hi there!!
I'm new on this discussion board as well. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about assisted hatching and if anyone has had any success with it?
Thank you.
