New have ? about progesterone injections

Hi, I'm new and cannot get ahold of my Dr. office until Monday so thought I would ask here. I am a surrogate and started progesterone injections last night for second cycle. first transfer failed. i have been given 1 inch needles for progesterone injections in hip. everything i have read says they have to be done with 1 1/2 inch needle, but i was given 1 inch needle because i am thin. of course i am wondering if this is why first transfer failed. the dr. office never shared progesterone level with me so i don't know what it was. i will check with them on monday, but i'm thinking maybe i should be using 1 1/2 inch needle until then. i have next transfer on wednesday so i want to make sure my levels are good. any help would be appreciated

Try posting this under the IVF section...there is a lot more "traffic" there and I bet someone will offer some suggestions. I only used PIO for my first cycle which was 2 years ago so I don't really remember. I do remember something about different needle sizes...but not enough to answer your question.
