hi everyone, im a newbie. me n my partenr been tryin to concieve for just over 3 years, and are now on step 3 of our ivf process, have just chosen the hospital of were our treatment will be started. now just awaiting the important letter to say we have been accepted!! exciting times ahead . just wanted to join somewere really were i can discuss &get information along our journey&maybe make friends too.. . wishing everyone in the same position all the luck in the world. xx

hi chris just to say thanks for your reply. i think im gna find things confusing&hard at times. but me and my partner are determined to reach our dream so we will stay strong and continue to climb our mountain, just nice to have somewere to come and discuss those big challenges which lay ahead thank you.

I didnt realize there were actually waiting lists for this. Is this typical. I go for my IVF class on Jan 6th and I havent been told that there will be any delays with starting my meds/treatments. You said you were in your 3rd step, what were the 1st, 2nd steps?

I think most of the waiting lists for IVF are in other countries. Here in Cincinnati, OH, we decided we wanted to do it, got our money together and got started. Within 2-3 mos of talking to the RE about starting, we had completed our first cycle. That included the class, meds, ER, ET and BFP. Unfortunately that ended in MC, but we had frosties and continued later with an FET. Just over a year after the first cycle, we had our little boy.
