Hi all,
Had a good trip to local early preg unit this morning. They have taken blood and are taking it again on Thursday morning to see if the levels rise. They told me though that they are opening a huge can of worms by them doing it and i have to be aware of the consequences!! Hey but do I care ??!!!
Curiosity got the better of me on the way home and I have done hpgt number 12 and got a great big bloody positive!!!
Head back up my bum !!
Love to you all
woppa
xxxxxxxxx

Hi Woppa sweetie,

I'm so glad that you got good service from the early pg unit - good for you not letting the fact that they said 'there could be consequences' get to you and we're all behind you on that - SOD everyone who isn't sympathetic to us, we've enough to cope with as it is!

Now look, hunnie, I'm going to give you a bit of advice I know you don't want to hear, but you know I'm going through the same, so I've only got your feelings in mind. You know I know how hard it is to resist but stop tormenting yourself with those hpgt kits. Besides which it must be costing you a fortune and you could be getting something real pampering for you and your dh which could help you cope with this situation. Its the same advice I got from my clinic.

Having said that, I'm glad the last one was really strongly positive, because now you are in exactly the same position as I am.

I hope you're not going to be too mad at me for saying my piece, and we can cyber hug again cos we're truely in this together girl.

Love you

Fiona xxxx

Hi Fiona,
Thanks for the advice. I've always said I want advice be it good or one I don't want to hear.
This time it was hubbie who made me do it !! Defo the last time ( well maybe not--it was a double pack !!)
The nurse said that she wont let me know the result today but will just compare the one I get on Thursday and then they will phone me Thursday evening.
They were really good with us. We actually attended the unit years ago when they were monitering my blood levels with ovulation. I dont ovulate every month !
Anyway hopefully things will work out for the both of us. Will you be in the chat room later on. I'll look out for you.
One day we will meet up with our beautiful babies
lots of love
Woppa
(Elaine )
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
