30 week scan

Quick update!! Had an appointment with my consultant today and got to see my boys again!! All looks OK, they're growing as they should be and there's no sign of any bleeding or problems following last week's scare. Needless to say I'm chuffed to bits. Consultant doesn't want to see me for another 4 weeks (with a midwife appointment in between) so she's obviously not worried, which is a relief! Can't believe I'm 30 weeks tomorrow - that is what I call very pregnant!! Hope you're all well. LOL Helenxx + Max & Harvey!

Helen, Can't believe it's 30 weeks already...aaagghhh...just you rest rest rest and then put your feet up!!! By Christmas we will be having a little baby boom and I can't wait to hear all your news. Enjoy the last few weeks and seriously rest rest rest....it will be the last sleep for a while..but so worth it you won't believe how quickly it will go. Anyway big hugs Nicky

Helen, So glad to read that you and the lads are looking good at the 30 weeker. Not long to go now - have you thought of any names? I logged on today to see how you and Tracey went on, and am so glad for you, and so sad for Tracey, so it's a bit of a day of mixed emotions. I remember when the most important thing to worry about was during the 2 week wait - but that is such a minor issue compared to the worries once you get a positive result. Stay well and rested, lol, Sally xxx

Hi Helen G, Kirsty C, RLV and Mags, can't believe time has flown so quickly and Helen and Kirsty are at 30 weeks!!! That's so exciting. I wish you all the very best as you so deserve these babies.. and thanks Helen for all your kind words back in March. Am going for second ICSI attempt - have just started sniffing - every 8 hours this time!!!- and have changed clinic to the ARGC who assure me that they will monitor carefully to make sure that I don't get OHSS this time. Fingers crossed, but I'm much more paranoid than I was the first time round, I can tell you!! beckym

Hi Becky, Time has really flown hasn't it!! Good luck with your ICSI Cycle. (We were successful at the ARGC and they really do monitor you closely- I had to go nearly every day during stims) I really hope that this time is your time...will look out for your posts.. Take care Lots of love Kirstyx

Hi Becky March seems like a long time ago, doesn't it?! Thanks for your kind words now!! So,you're back on the rollercoaster again - you must be so excited/nervous/apprehensive/optimistic/full of beans - the list goes on I think. Kirsty and Helen Thanks for your good wishes. I am looking forward to news of your progress - can't believe Mags has had the twins already. That was the first +ve posting I saw on this site way back in Dec/Jan when I was a novice! Kirsty, thanks for telling me re the ARGC - I think it was a posting you made way back in March that made me think about moving to them in the first place. Taranissi is certainly very hard working. I was really shocked to be starting this cycle as he kept on shaking his head at the last couple of hormone profiles and saying they weren't right so I just assumed this one wouldn't be either - but he's very thorough - did you have a hysteroscopy to check the lining of the womb for blips etc? I am going in for one on Saturday at the Wellington so hope there will be no nasty suprises! One step at a time eh! love to you and your bumps. beckym xxxx

Hi Helen, I haven't logged on for a long time, so was really pleased to see you were doing so well. Not sure if you would remember but we cycled around the same time but I got a neg result. Well done to Mags and her twins aswell. I am just starting to down reg, injecting buserelin instead of sniffing this time! and back on the emotional rollercoaster. Anyway, take care of yourself and Max and Harvey, hope to hear your good news around the time of my result (it might be a good thing!) Love Lisa
