Hi Everyone ,

haven't posted in a while as have been busy with work, house guests and finishing the move into the new house. There are now only 8 brown boxes left so it's looking quite good.

We had the 12 week scan last week and all is well. Dr.saisd' oh my baby looks big ' Good on the one hand , but how will it be in 6 months time its big now ?! DH is adating well and loves the growing bubble belly and big bust! I on the other hand am not so sure as clothes are getting more n more limited. Guess I'll just have to go shopping...

Nicola, haven't heard from you in some time. Are you ok and is everyone well ?

Mags glad to hear babies are getting strong and may be home soon. Must be very trying time for you at the moment, but am sure once they are home it will be forgotten.

To all the newcomers CONGRATULATIONS

love to all
Susi
Hi Susi

Been thinking about you and Dawn so decided to take a look at last - so relieved your 12 week scan went well. Had mine last Wednesday (was convinced there was nothing there as I felt so normal) - cried my eyes out when I saw the little fella - he was bigger than normal too!

As my NHS area is so crap, had the nuchal scan done at the private clinic at the same time, soooo nerve-racking, but thank god, my calculated risk of Downs for was low and he had all the bits he was supposed to. It was just the most amazing moment of my life to see him (assuming it's a he, as my husband comes from a line of boys only - going back five generations!)

My only worry is that on the printed scan picture, facially he looks distinctly like Homer Simpson......! Roll on the 20 week scan to prove me wrong!

All the best to everyone (Dawn are you OK - I can't see any recent posts from you).

Nicola x

Susi and Nicola,

So so pleased to hear your scans went well!

Dolly and Kathryn, really great that you're cycling together again - sending you lots of +ve vibes - can't wait for you to join us and re-unite the old JCBs!

Kat - I've left you a message on the other side, but HUGE good luck for Friday.

I've got my scan next Monday, and the nuchal at the same time. Am really looking forward to it as am just feeling paranoia kicking in again - I don't seem to have much of a bump at all really, and need to see the bambino again to know it's real. Think I won't really relax until I feel it moving inside me.

Susi/Nicola - are you going to find out if you're expecting a boy or a girl at the next scan, or have a surprise when it's born (I know you have your suspicions already Nicola!)? We're going to try and wait until it pops out in April. All the family members we've told think it's a girl as I'm one of three girls, and Rob just has one sister . . . but I'm not so sure. I don't care either way though - just want it in my arms asap!

Lots of love to you all, Beck xx
