Negative HPT, but High Basal Body Temperature

Post by DCRunningMama »

I am 14 day past retrieval, 9 days past 2 day transfer of two 5BB hatching blastocysts that were "great quality." (My clinic is supposedly very conservative with rating embryos).

I have take 4 different HPTs today. EPT, First Response, Answer, and CVS First Response. All negative.

The weird thing is that my basal body temperature is REALLY high (for me): 98.42. My luteal phase bbt is usually 97.4-97.6. My temperature during my luteal phase this cycle has been 97.8-98.1 and then it made the big jump to 98.42.

Is there any chance I am actually pregnant?

Are you on progesterone? That will increase your basal temperature. That said, it isn't negative until negative by blood. Good luck to you!
