Hi Jackie

At least your scan shows you are not having THREE! Just the one like you wanted. Its funny how some hospitals can detect a heartbeat at six weeks and others can't, it must be something to do with more sophisticated machinery.....v.technical. This next week won't be long to wait, its much easier to relax once you've seen the first scan.

I had mine on Friday and it was fab. We saw two babies!!! Eek. Two heads and lots of little legs. One was moving around and wouldn't keep still to have its photo and be measured. Bless. Its amazing how quickly they grow in these first few weeks. My next one is not until 12 weeks, but I feel a lot more relaxed and happy about everything, which is good.

I'm still feeling terribly sick, but I just live with it. Its definitely worse in the morning and gradually by the evening I feel almost normal! I tried the wrist bands but they just seemed to stop my circulation!! If I have a meeting to go to on a morning, I put them on, just so I think they might help! I have yoghurt every morning and I love potato, so that is basically my diet at the moment. I also like a bowl of cereal before I go to bed!

My ovaries were less enlarged on this latest scan and the cysts had reduced which is a sign that the morning sickness might get better - lets hope so.

My due date is 4th June but the consultant has said they don't like patients with twins to go beyond 37 weeks, which would mean I'll have them some time in May! How exciting!!!

Better go and have a nap!
Talk to you soon
love nikola.xx
8wks 3 day (me too!)
