Donor Time!

Post by Naki »

Hello

I am new to this site. After 3 attempts at IVF/ ICSI (due to low sperm) and much heartbreak, my DH and I have decided to try the DI route. We were considering home insemination but the possible legalities/ safety issues put me off and we've decided to try the clinic route instead (even though it is much more expensive)

Can anyone recommend a clinic who does IUI with donor sperm (maybe one that they have used and had a good experience - even better if the clinic was a bit more affordable :). I would probably have it via a natural cycle (no drugs required).

On a personal note: To anyone out there who is trying to have a baby and has tried for years (possibly tried IVF and so on) and still no baby, my heart goes out to you. If you have lost a baby, my heart and soul goes out to you. I truly feel your pain. Our last IVF cycle (FET) resulted in a positive pregnancy. At 8 weeks we were told that the pregnancy was not "progressing". The devastation of this loss is still very real to me and I believe that often it's something you never get over.

Hope all your baby dreams come true very soon!

Naki xx

Hey Naki! What did you decide to do? DH and I are trying to decide between another IVF (no insurance this time) or a DI.
