Hi All - Just a quick question before I give up all hope...anyone have any experience with this??
FET Cycle....DE from 28 yr old
2 Grade 5BB eggs transferred 3/16 (My clinic grades low so compared to other clinics grading scales they were considered excellent quality)
3/21 - Positive HPT (10dpo)
3/23 - Beta # 1 (12dpo) -- 32
3/25 - Beta # 2 (14dpo) -- 41
RE wants me to come in for another Beta on Monday which I am OK with however he seems optimistic that all hope is not lost and I don't agree, I cannot find a shred of evidence (just in internet googling) that this will turn out good. The only thing I did read was that one of the embryos did not make so that would account for slow rise and on Monday it may rise more....I am just trying to prepare myself and not get my hopes up when there is no hope to get up....I will mention that I found a site that only 85% of pregnancies rise normally but in 15% they do not and can be sporadic..I am usually the statistic! My RE seems to think what if you came in on Monday & it rose again.....I am losing faith in the what if's & would prefer hard cold facts based on science.....
Thanks for info ladies & ghost......
Me: Kt-42 - DH: Louie-50
TTC: 7 years - IUI X 5 - IVF X 2 (1-DE) - FET X 1 - MC x 6

That 32 is not that low. It's a decent reading for just 7 days after transfer.
But that slow growth is a bad sign. You are correct to be cautious with your optimism at this point. If it rises more normally on Monday, then a little optimism is justified. But even then, you should be cautious.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
Did you have your levels drawn at the same place? If not, that could account for an error in number. If a different clinic runs a beta, they can get different numbers.
Good luck!!!!
Hi - I was just lurking around reading IF boards as I have an FET transfer scheduled in the morning. I had to register to respond to your post. I had a fresh cycle in Aug of 09 .I went in for my first beta and it was 45. 4 days later I went back in and it was 46. I gave up hope completely. Stopped all meds; refused to go back in for another beta. About a week later I decided to go out and have some drinks, but something told me to POAS to make sure the HCG was gone. Bright pink line. I figured it was ectopic (had one before) and went to the ER 2 days later to get a shot of methotrexate. Beta was over 800. I just put my one year old daughter to bed .
No idea if it was a lab error, or disapearing twin, or just some fluke- but don't give up!
