IVF Success Stories

Hi to all!!! i was wondering if there was a thread that had IVF success stories on it? i remember there being one for FET successes but i can't even find that anymore! it's been a while since i've been on this forum so i'm trying to get back in the swing of things...

I'm not sure if there is one already or not, but I am in favor of starting one! I am also looking for success stories for my blog www.ivfsuccessstories.info. If anyone is interested in sharing please contact me.

Here is my success story:
We tried naturally for a year before seeking help. We were told that we have MF infertility and that we would have to go straight to IVF w ICSI. Four cycles later we had been through 2 negative cycles and 2 miscarriages. We decided to go with donor embryos moving forward. First FET was a positive, but another miscarriage. We were devestated. We had nore donor embryos to use so we tried again. (sixth cycle if you are losing track ) Got pregnant and stayed pregnant this time! Our little miracle boy was born a little over a year ago. He is such a blessing and I would do it all again if I had to!

we have a son through our 3 rd IVF, the 1st was cancelled early as i responded so poorly to stims... this was not good news, then the 2nd- on the strongest protocal- i only made 2 follies... they recommended cancelling and going to donor eggs.. we went to retrieval based on my 'gut feeling'... (we pay out of pocket for treatment too)

so a miracle happened and we got PG.. heartbeat seen on u/s at 7wks. m/c at 12 wks. that was awful but inspired us to try with my eggs again..

onto 3rd ivf, after taking DHEA for 7 wks first.... made 10 follies, 9 eggs, 4 embryos, and 1 beautiful son..

did a FET with the others, chemical. now naturally pregnant (yes, the urban myth actually happened to a real person).. weird, but true. i'm now 17wks pg.. and incredibly grateful.

hope this story can help anyone who feels hopeless right now.. i hung on by 'a thread'... lost most of my sanity, some of my dignity, some friends through my social isolation, and became quite bitter at times.. yet all is well. i'm not even sure somedays how i got here, although i do know that HOPE and PERSEVERANCE had a lot to do with it.
