can i join you... and question about pains?

hi can i join you here? <br>i've got a positive while inbetween treatments (had two neg ivf's in past year and an ectopic). it is really early stages and i've been having pains right from the begining; back, ovary and low uterus. i've read its normal to experience pain but how normal? i'm trying to remember what the pains were like last time but can't.<br><br>anyone had this?<br><br>phil

Hi phil<br><br>good to see you on this site. I have been having sharp pains on and off as well, mainly in the ovary area which I guess is them calming down as I had a huge egg haul (I had these type of pains on my last neg cycle as well and was told it was just ovaries calming down). hoping it's not ectopic - though my hcg levels did double every other day at the beginning of this week which they say is a good sign. Also getting a sort of stretching sensation. have you had any nausea yet? the wait until the first scan is horrid, isn't it? beckym xxx

Hi Phil<br><br>Congratulations and welcome. I had pains in my ovaries - Quite severe and worse when I needed a wee. The pains calmed down and now just get the odd tweaks and twinges which I have been told are normal. Don't worry and enjoy these next few weeks being PG.<br><br>All the best love Dagny x

thanks becky and dagny, <br><br>becky, i know from past experience that your levels doubling is a REALLY good sign. how many are you expecting?? <br><br>i feel like i've turned freaky welcoming every symptom as long as its not on my right side. i've felt only slight nausea and either everything is more smelly or my sense of smell has increased loads. i'll live with the pain for the next 9 months as long as everything's ok. you're right about waiting for the scan though, torture.<br><br>well lots of love to you both and your babies. dagny, you're right i will focus on enjoying the next few weeks.<br><br>best wishes<br>phil x<br><br>
