Is it my time?

Hi Ladies,

So many of you have been there for me over the past year. I am not on a thread now, so I didn't know where to post, but as a lot of you know, I've been having issues with my lining and I feel like that has affected all of my IUI's.

I had my first US for this cycle on Sunday and again, my lining was at a 4. I was devastated and really questioning the decision to try 1 or 2 more IUI's before moving on to IVF. It was the worst my lining has ever been. Usually on day 10 it was a 5. Then, I went back on Tuesday, yesterday, and my lining was an 8! I couldn't believe it! I told the nurse, are you sure? maybe you should measure again! So, I triggered last night and have a single IUI tomorrow at 1:00pm. I really hope that the 5th IUI cycle is my time.

I have my beta on 4/26, which is the day before DH and I leave for Napa. Really hoping I won't be drinking at all!

Hi Tiger,

Has your RE mentioned using Viagra suppositories? My good friend had a lining problem and the Viagra really helped, I know crazy right?

Tiger --- That sounds awesome! So you went with an IUI vs IVF? I know you were considering IVF. I am thinking of you and praying for a BFP!!!

I don't have a lining problem, one of the few problems we don't have But I wanted to tell you good luck with your cycle!! It can happen when you are starting to give up hope. We had our little boy after 6 IVF attempts.

I'm also trying an IUI with follistim this cycle...Triggered Sunday night and went in for the procedure Tuesday morning. I was also worried about my lining last week it was only a 6, but yesterday she told me it was better between an 8-9. We got to see dh's swimmers through the microsope and that was the most exciting part since he has had low sperm count in the past. We think his vitamin regimen really helped! But this is our first IUI WITH follistim and with unexplained infertility, the doctor recommended us trying IUI a couple more times between jumping back into IVF. Anyway, I want you to know I will be praying that this cycle is a success for you guys! Sunshine1576

Sunshine - That is so very exciting! I hope that this cycle works for you! Are you thinking about POAS?

Lou - Thank you so much. We literally were going to go through IVF and when we went for the nurse consult, the nurse was reviewing our insurance and since we had already paid the $3000 out of pocket for this year, any IUI the remainder of this year would be really cheap! So, since we had insurance coverage for IUI and not IVF, we decided to try a few more times with IUI. I really really hope this works. How is your pregnancy??

Jen - Thanks so much! I have never heard that, but if this cycle doesn't work, I'll make sure and ask about that. Thank you for the advice!

5th IUI is the one that got us pregnant this time in December so keep up the PMA... fingers crossed for you...try to visualize it working-it really helped me
