Injections

Post by want2beMommy »

I have been taking my injections for about a week now, and the skin on my stomach is getting very tender. We have been rotating sides each night, but last nights shots were very painful. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to minimize this discomfort??

Not sure what you are taking, but if the meds are cold let them come to room temp (around 5 mins) before injecting. Inject all meds slowly and if when you put the needle in and it hurts you can take it out and find a better spot. Hope this helps :D

I put ice on the area for 5 minutes before the shot . . .
I also push the fluid in slowly to reduce the stinging . . .
Good luck =)
