Newbie - IVF

Post by WndrGrl »

Hi everyone,
First time posting here. My husband & I have been TTC since 9/2009 with no luck. We met with a RE on 3/2010 and in 10/2010 we did our first round of IUI. We have had 3 failed IUIs and have no moved on to IVF.

Just looking for others in the same boat as me. I got the medicine list and tentative schedule yesterday and it is very overwhelming. I'm so unbelievably nervous about all the shots.

Any help? Tips?

This is my first IVF cycle but we can do it!! We are strong women! If you go on the "summer 2011" board there are alot of women with experience who can give great advice

I am not new to IVF, actually I am an IVF vet! But I just wanted to wish you luck on your cycle. If you have any questions I would be glad to try to help. I have a lot of IVF info on my blog if you would like to check it out. (Link is in my signature)
After 7 attempts (2 negatives/3 miscarriages), we have TWO miracle boys!! If you would like to hear our story, please visit http://www.ivfsuccessstories.info. Never give up, it can happen for you!!

Hey there,

My hubby and I have been trying for 2years and have been with one RE for one in a half years and another RE for 6 months with no results before moving to St. Augustine, FL. I am currently at Jacksonville Reproductive Institute, and they have been fabulous so far! They diagnosed me with PCOS. In 2010 I had 2 IUI's and thought I shouldn't waste anymore time on them, so we went straight for IVF which I am currently in the process of doing (should be done with everything including pregnancy results mid-June) I am just excited and overwhelmed at the same time. It's very exhausting and I feel like it drains everything out of me, especially since I take Injectibles. I know that when the time is right it will happen.

I wish you and your hubby only the best! And lots of babydust to all of us who are trying!!

Me: 25- PCOS
DH: 31- Normal
1st IUI-12/2010- Follistm
2nd IUI- 2/2011- Follistm
1st IVF- 5/2011- Follistm, Doxycline & Reclipsen
