Ok I need a PMA boast. Today we had our 6 week u/s and there was no heartbeat. There was a gestational sac and yolk. Doctor said it could be late implantation or the baby stopped growing and nature will take its course. We will go back in for our next u/s in a week. It's going to be a long week.

My heart goes out to you. Is 6 weeks not awful early for the ultrasound though? From my reading it seems that 6 and a half to 7 and a half weeks is when you expect to see the heart beat. Really hope everything works out for you.

Just to say that you are in my prayers. At my clinic they do the scan to look for heartbeats at 7 weeks at the earliest so I am hoping that all will be ok for you next week.
Thank you everyone for the PMA and prayers. I am trying to stay positive. It seems my clinic does everything a little early, which is great when you get a positive outcome. Not so great when there is uncertainty.
When I went for an early US this time I saw a gestational sac and no yolk at 5w4d, I freaked out and then at almost 7 wks they saw 2 HBs! One unfortunately didn't make it but we have a healthy bean, what I am trying say is that early US are a blessing and a curse! Seeing one gestational sac and yolk is great news and hopefully there will be a strong HB, don't panic there is tons of hope!

Usually shows up right around six weeks. Sometimes a little late.
Hang in there.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
Will be praying for you, I know how that waiting game can be. It is so tough. When do you go back?
After 7 attempts (2 negatives/3 miscarriages), we have TWO miracle boys!! If you would like to hear our story, please visit http://www.ivfsuccessstories.info. Never give up, it can happen for you!!

Thank you brit, not sure if you know but I posted on your blog about 3 day transfers. We have our next u/s on Wednesday, hoping it goes by fast.

I had an early US at 6 weeks with my DS. There was a gestational sac and yolk. The doctor said he could detect a heartbeat but claimed it was mine.....I had to wait 5 LONG days to see if all was OK....IT was!!
Have hope, sometimes the HB is detected at 6w1d. I am sure it will be OK on Wednesday.
