I wanted to know if anyone has done 2 transfers on different days within the same cycle.
Ghost, do you think there is any chance of "injury" to the donor embryos when the tube gets put into my uterus the day after to deposit my own embryo? Both centres use abdominally guided U/S. Would the day 5 embryo still be visible by day 6. I have watched a video on U/S gided transfers and gather it is the air bubble on expelling the embies that "marks the delivery spot". Surely a day later that air buble will no longer be there to mark the spot?
(BTW, for reasons of "guaranteeing" success with my donor embryo at its centre, the two transfers cannot be combined, so that is not an option.)
Amazing. I have never heard of a cycle like that. Two different days at two different centers.
The day 5 embryo will not be visible on ultrasound on day 6. It will be only about 0.2-0.3mm in diameter at that time. The bubble will be gone, and even if a bubble is still there, it may not be the same bubble and the embryo may have separated from the bubble.
The answer to your question is that we don't know. What you are doing is very rarely or never tried. I tend to doubt the chance of damage, but there is no way to know. My clinic has surely never done it.
If this worries you, you can always do single embryo transfers.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
