good morning everyone,

i was just wondering at what day of ur cycle did u start the stims for antagonist protocl ?
was it day 2 or day 3 of the period.

Ghost: does starting the antagonist on day 2 or day 3 make a differnce?

im asking bcoz yesterday on sunday i got my AF but it wasnt good enough it looked like brown spotting (sorry tmi) i called RE office and they said that i have to go to start stims on tuesday, so i dont know if tuesday mean day 2 or day 3
the problem is that i thought that by today AF will become red heavy spotting and it will be counted as day 1 of my cycle but it still brown spotting , nothing in the night, a little bit in the morning and now almost nohing, so now im concerned that AF this month is not good enough and that i may be wasted this cycle. what is happening!!! it the first time that AF is like this and i wasnt on BCP last month.

I started follistim on day 3 for my last cycle, but I think our timing with the trigger shot was where we missed out. But we did do an antagonist cycle and had a strong follicle count. Also about AF, I've always heard when you do get full flow (with heavy bleeding) that's considered day1. It could be that the body is still getting rid of old tissue to prepare for a new cycle, I usually have spotting like that the day before too. Could the RE will do a baseline before you start treatment to make sure you are good to go for this IVF cycle, I am thinking most can.
