I've never taken Lurpon, why? (Ghost, please!)

Ghost -

Why is it that I've never taken Lupron? I would never even have heard of the drug if I wasn't online! :D

I've done 3 fresh "antagonist" cycles -- I take BCP the month before, then start FSH on CD3, then add Ganirelix (Orgalutran) around CD7.

I've done 3 FETs - BCP the cycle before, starting 2mg x 3/day of oral Estrofem on CD1, adding progesterone a few days before transfer.

Do I not need the Lupron because I don't naturally ovulate (diagnosed with anovulatory PCO - even though I do NOT have poly-cystic ovaries -- but I just don't ovulate on my own at all)?

Just curious.... and wondering if adding Lupron would make any difference in improving my chances, especially with FETs (since every FET has been BFN).

Also - the BCP that I take between every cycle, are those important? I've been taking them starting with the period I get after a BFN so that I can control when my next cycle is. It usually takes 2.5 weeks to get my insurance approval for my next cycle - so I take the BCP so I know when I'll get my next period, instead of waiting & waiting & waiting and finally doing Provera or something. But this time, I'm trying to arrange to do a fresh cycle immediately after a BFN from the FET (I'm sweet-talking my insurance rep!) Would that be ok? Could I start an antagonist cycle immediately after a BFN from a FET?
8 IVF+6 FET=6 BFN+8 BFP =

-mc 10w (9.10)
-Micha (7.19-24.11) & Asaf (7.19-28.11) born at 24w
-mc 5wk (2.12)
-no HB at 18w (10.12)
-BO (4.13)-
-mc 6wk (9.13)

last attempt - donor sperm - baby girl born healthy July 2014

Lupron would be redundant with your Orgalutran. No need for both.

The BCP are mainly to get your cycle on a schedule your clinic can manage.

You'll need to check your own clinic's policies on whether they require intervening cycles.

Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
