I suspect you want to take them to a clinic with a better published success rate, but you wonder if that rate would apply to you if you did not freeze your embryos there? Great question. The answer is generally no. You might see some improvement, but the success rate is tied to your clinic's competence at freezing.

If you could give me a little more information about your situation, your frozen embryos, and the two clinics, I might have slightly more insight.

As you can see by my siggy Im trying to prevent another nightmare. I have no problems with my clinic or my doc. I just wanted to know if another clinic who had higher numbers if Id have a better chance of a happy ending.

I have 3 hatching blasts 5aa 5ab 5ab and 2 4aa 4ab Total of 5 blasts on ice.

Im 38 no living children and take medication for high blood pressure and not overweight and had gestational diabetes with my last pregnancy so plan for it my next. (I lost over 40 lbs and went off insulin a year ago)
So I really was hoping for just a singleton pregnancy so I was only going to transfer 2 of the 5's but the doc wants to go for the 3.

My current clinic's success rate is 25.8% per 2 embryos transferred. (assuming I transfer 3 Im sure thats not much higher)
I just thought going to another clinic with a higher rate would give me a better chance.

I got pregnant on a fresh cycle with 2 blasts in 2009 4aa 4ab.

I didnt have any specific clinic in mind, I just had the idea that if they were better my numbers would be better.

26% is not a bad rate for your age group. However, some clinics might be able to increase it for this one thaw cycle and transfer by thawing more (all?) of your embryos and looking through them for the best to transfer. Others might just thaw and transfer 1 or 2 at a time, until pregnancy occurs. The latter gives you the highest eventual chance of success, the former gives the highest rate per transfer.

You might ask your clinic if they have any better or worse success with frozen/thawed hatching blasts. Some clinics have issues with them.
