low beta - thoughts? ghost?

Went in for my beta (a day early) at 9dp5dt (fet) and it came back at 23. Going back in on Thursday, but I'm obviously going crazy. Thoughts?? Anyone?

OMG! Thoughts? Umm, yeah you're preggo! You're a day early, so that is a great number...woohoo! OMG...I cannot wait until Thursday. How many did you put in?

It's low. Sometimes those low ones can develop all the way to a live birth. A much higher number would have been a better sign, of course.

So, there was no line yesterday on HPTs and there's a faint one today and the digital read "Pregnant", so whatever's going on is not the trigger and must be rising, right? I'm driving myself nuts.

I'd be optimistic. When I was in my 2WW, I obsessed over beta results and saw hordes of pregnancies that started off in that range. Best wishes for a fantastic doubling.
