I'm Jen, a 29yo nurse/farmgirl from Illinois. DH and I are embarking upon the IVF journey for the first time, set for late February. After 9 years of ttc, RE decided this was our last resort. We're very excited and optimistic but on the same token, I'm a realist so I'm entering cautiously.... I can honestly say I have no one in my life that has been through this and allthough they try, they can't truly understand this part of my life. There is still alot about this process that I don't quite understand, numbers and such, but I'm confident I will learn from you ladies. My husband is gone up to weeks at a time for work so that leaves me frequently alone with my thoughts which lets face it, can sometimes be a little overwhelming! Haha.. So, I'm looking forward to meeting wonderful new people and being able to talk openly and learn along the way too.
