Did you women take time off or not work while undergoing IVF? What was it like for you gals that underwent IVF while working, about how many days off did you need? Did the hormones make you feel weird or act weird at work etc. My wife thinks she should take a year off to undergo this. I am ok with her not working when we have children since she will be caring for them, but would prefer she keep busy until that happens (crossing my fingers).

I worked during my first IVF and was a stay at home mom during my second IVF. I think that I took about three days off. One was for the egg retrieval and two for the embryo transfer. I felt fine on the hormones, both physically and emotionally.

I've taken days off here and there throughout my cycles, but I don't think there's any need to take off the whole time. As Leora said, work is a good distraction.
