Natural conception after failed IVF

I was wondering whether anyone has heard of people becoming prenant after an unsuccessful round of ivf. I am 43 and have had one round of Ivf which resulted in 6 follicles, 5 eggs, all fertilised and 2 transfers of compacted morulas. I have now changed clinics and am seeing a more progressive dr who has put me on dhea, coqu10, melatonin, omega3 oil, natal complex, magnezium and protein powders. I have decided to try ivf up to 44 which should give me a couple more goes and if I get my period on July 20 that's the day it will start. However, I am wondering whether people here had any success after a cycle in conceiving naturally? Do any of those stimulating drugs stay in your system and assist?

There's someone on here who had failed IVF to go on to have a successful IUI then go on to have a successful natural conception. She's on from time to time, maybe she'll see this.

there was a gal on here a few years ago. She was in her 40's, did and IVF cycle that failed and then got pregnant on her own. It can happen, just not very often.

I had tried for our baby Paul who is now 11 months for 3 1/2 years. We were desperate to concieve after I went into remission following cervical cancer surgery. We tried 5 rounds of iui all bfn's then we moved onto IVF and my response was terrible...we only got 3 eggs, 2 fertilized and we transferred them both...only to find ourselves in beta limbo and an ultimate miscarriage by 6 weeks. We could not afford another fresh cycle so decided to try donor embies and did an FET with 3 expanding blasts and still got a BFN.....we were so distraught so I asked my RE if he would do an unmedicated iui on day 14 of my cycle and with a chuckle he agreed (so many failed attempts-he was sure this iui was gonna be a failure) but to our shock and surprise we got a beta of 247 2 weeks later and little Paul is now a beautiful 11 month old.

When Paul was 8 months old DH and I decided to try for another one...(of course we had not been using protection since Paul took so long and still had to be an iui we were sure we could not get naturally pregnant) I went in for my baseline bloodwork and ultrasound with my RE only to find out that somehow we had naturally conceived and that I already had a beta of 35....In shock we waited for beta #2 and then 3 and then the first ultrasound and I am happy to tell you I am now almost 19 weeks pregnant from a natural conception after so many failed fertility treatments.

I had a friend conceive naturally a month after 3 back to back failed IVF cycles. She was 33 at the time.
