Cramping after embryo transfer preventing implantation

Post by 9741513 »

Hi there,

Kind of at a loss to get answers from my clinic on this one so was hoping that someone out there could maybe help. I have now had 2 cycles of ivf, one fresh and one frozen transfer, after both I have had extremely bad cramping and bleeding prior to even my period being due. The first occasion implantation occurred but I continued to bleed and cramp and miscarried at 7 weeks, this time I cramped as soon as embryo transfer took place righ through til day 8 past 5 day embryo transfer when I started bleeding. I am very worried as it seems that my body is attacking the embryos as soon as they are transferred and despite being given clexane and prednisolone this time to help the same occurred. Has anyone else experienced this and had other treatments or drugs suggested or is it likely to mean that no matter how many times I try this my body simply won't accept the embryo? Very sad today and hoping someone out there can share their experience??

Cramping is a known side effect of progesterone. Perhaps you have more cramping than most others?

Or perhaps there is some unusual cause.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
