? late implantation

Post by nanama »

I am new to this board.

I had IVF in Jan 2011 and have 2 healthy twin boys who are 16 months old. I tried transferring a frozen blastocyst in November 2013 which did not implant. Now I had another IVF and transferred 2 5db 3 weeks ago. My 42nd birthday is this week. My hcg has been going up but not as fast as they would like. 2 weeks post retrieval my hcg was 46, 2 days later it was 96 and 6 days later it was 940. I had an ultrasound yesterday to rule out ectopic and I had 1 gestational sac but no yolk sac and they said it could go either way (may just be really early from late implantation versus miscarriage) and scheduled another ultrasound in a week and half but no more bloodwork. They then told me that even though it was a 5 day transfer what was transferred was actually more like morula stage. I looked at ultrasound pictures online and it looked more like a 4 week old ultrasound with a fetus rather than a blighted ovum or miscarriage.

I'm on estrogen and progesterone.

I was feeling ok before the ultrasound but now I'm just really anxious I'm going to lose the baby. I want to feel positive. I know it could go either way. Should I ask for repeat bloodwork to see if the hcg is still going up?

I appreciate advise from others. I've lurked a lot so know this is relatively common and I'm not alone. It seems from looking online it could still be twins, could end in miscarriage, or I could end up with another baby. I'm hoping beyond hope for another healthy baby. I'm steeling myself for another round of IVF if this does not work out.

Hello. I'm Infertile and Doctors tell me that you can get a treatment from the best clinic. i hear that there is an clinic near to my street. Then, me and my husband go to Lotus clinic. The peoples of the staff is very bad. They cannot pay attention to my problem. Doctors of the clinic are also very diirty, they cannot wash their hands after checkup of one patient.

I am sorry to know your story. Have you checked out reviews of your clinic? There are lots of forums such as fertilityfriends co uk or babycentre.co.uk, as well as sites such as eggdonationfriends com or whereivf com, where you would find tons of reviews of IVF clinics from different countries.
