1st Scan --what a result!

Post by helenlouise »

Hi,

I couldn't wait until wenesday for my scan , so went along today and yes i'm in the TWINS club!!

Everything looked fine and we saw 2 heartbeats, although he didn't give us the embryos measurements. He said everything was good and the risk of m/c was minimal so fingers crossed.

EDD 18th August

Hi Helen
Crongratulations! Twins you must be over the moon. You take it easy. It must be a good sign you tested early and now you scanned early.
Its going to be a competiton between us all to see who has theirs first.

Hi Helen

Wow twins, you really must feel proud :P It is amazing when you see the first scan with heartbeats and all. You will now have to look after yourself and remember to drink and eat little and often.

Congratulations to you and DH.

Go for it girl - twinnies hey?
Welcome and well done - you are 3 days behind me with twinnies too - I am still panicking - how is the sickness - I was violently ill for a week and now seem to be just nauseous and tired- nothing new there then
Take care

Congratulations Helen - twins are great!

Tracey, I was really ill for a week and then nauseous and very, very tired for the next 12 weeks! I then had a fortnight's respite before the tiredness kicked in again until they were born at 39 weeks. After that you don't have time to be tired! So don't worry about changing symptoms (and I'd love you to get the same perfect result from your pregnancy as I got from mine).
